 Official MTS 2012 Calendar Contest Results
First things first! Congratulations to everyone who participated in our calendar contest. I know that some of you are old hats at contests but some of you were newcomers. Even more so, I noticed that, for some of you, your entry was your first post to the forums so welcome. Again, congratulations to a job well done for everyone.

Now that we have winners, we also went ahead and made the downloadable calendars for your games. You can find them:And last but not least...
Wall Calendars:
Calendars for you to print out for at home! There seemed to be a lot of interest in calendars for personal use so...they got made.  There is one for each TS2 and TS3 so take your pick. Or mix and match if you'd like. They are in Simlish and have credits (in English) for each of the winners. There are no holidays marked so you can write and add whatever you'd like. Print and assembly instructions included. All documents as PDF files. Please enjoy!

Hello and Happy New year!
Thank you for participating on the Themes-poll. We have our six new themes!
Men, Elders, Rock & Roll, Great Depression, Vacation, and Careers & Office. The first one for January is...
Elders!
Time to take care of those who once took care of us. The elders need your help!
How to take part?
Make an Elders-themed upload. It can be anything - a lot, a sim, clothes, furniture, whatever comes to your mind, as long as it has something to do with the theme.
The upload process goes the way it normally does. You include required pictures, files, information... The only new requirement is that you include some of the following tags to your upload search keywords:- "theme-Elders"
- "Elders"
- "theme"
How long is the theme active?
The Elders-theme starts today, January 1st 2012 - and ends February 29th 2012.
Have fun with the new theme!

Hey simmers!
Thanks very much for your suggestions for the next round of site themes! We had a lot of great submissions, and have trimmed them down to these to choose from. Please vote on your favourite themes (you can vote for as many as you want, but obviously, voting for -all- of them is just silly), and the top six will be used for the next six months of site themes.

Hihi,
as you were informed in the start of November, the monthly theme of December is...
Multicultural!
Holidays are coming close, at least on the northern side of the globe. Do your sims celebrate Christmas, or do they have Hanukkah? You can also make anything else that represents a culture, it doesn't necessary have to be about celebrating.
How to take part?
Make a Multicultural-themed upload. It can be anything - a lot, a sim, clothes, furniture, whatever comes to your mind, as long as it has something to do with the theme.
The upload process goes the way it normally does. You include required pictures, files, information... The only new requirement is that you include some of the following tags to your upload search keywords:- "theme-Multicultural"
- "Multicultural"
- "theme"
How long is the theme active?
The Multicultural theme starts today, December 1st 2011 - and ends January 31st 2012.
Have fun with the new theme!
What about the next themes?
The suggestions for the next 6 month themes are still open, go make a suggestion here!

Hi all,
We've just done a quick reshuffle of the Sims 3 Pets download area, to make it easier to upload and find pet accessories, genetics such as eyes, and pet objects. We've also moved pet objects into the Buy Mode section, for both Sims 2 and 3 - but don't worry, they're still linked from within the Pets section, so you won't lose them.

Official MTS 2012 Calendar Contest
In just a few short days, we will be launching not one, but two calendar contests for 2012. The contests will run for the entire month of December. There will be one specific for TS2 and one for TS3. This contest will give you a chance to share unique screenshots of your sims celebrating throughout the calendar year.
On December 1st, details and a chance to enter will be posted in the Sims Contests site area.
Use your creativity to showcase your sims in a shot fitting for each month of the year. The picture should be a scene with sims in it representing the "feel" of a particular month. Have the family gathered for Christmas dinner? Take a picture! Beach party in June? Snap that scene! A winner will be chosen for each month for, up to, a total of 24 winners (12 for each game)!
Check back on December 1st, start taking pictures and have fun!
